Dünya coğrafyasında yaşayan toplumların istek ve ihtiyaçları her geçen gün biraz daha artmaktadır. Sanayi ve teknolojideki gelişmeler ise bu istek ve ihtiyaçların yerine getirilmesinde bir araç olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Teknolojinin hayatımızı her anlamda kolaylaştıracak ürünler ortaya koyması sonucu büyük endüstriyel tesisler/yapılar daha kısa zamanda ve düşük maliyetler ile yapılabilir hale gelmiştir. Nehirler, sarp vadiler vb. geçmekte kullanılan köprüler de teknolojik ekipmanların gelişim sürecinden etkilenmiş olup büyük açıklıklar bu sayede geçilmiştir. Kimi zaman betonarme yapıları kimi zaman da çelik yapı kullanmak suretiyle bu yapılar toplumların hizmetine sunulmuştur. Bu nedenle bu çalışmada, çelik konstrüksiyon gövdeye sahip köprü kiriş imalatlarının yapım süreci ve süreçte dikkat edilmesi gereken konuların önemi üzerine bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır. The wishes and needs of the communities living on the world are increasing with each passing day more and more. The developments at the industry and technology emerges as a tool for satisfying these needs. As a result of the technology making the products facilitate our lives in every sense, making the large industrial facilities / structures in a shorter time and with lower costs have been possible. The bridges for the rivers, steep valleys and so on were affected from the development processes of technological equipments thus, the remote gaps has been crossed. These structures have been presented to the service of societies sometimes through the use of reinforced concrete structures and sometimes steel structures. Therefore, in this study an assessment has been made about the significance of manufacturing process of the steel construction beams and the issues needs to take into consideration during the manufacturing process.
